We work with progressive civil society organizations, institutions and social movements and with all those who share our values: social justice, ecological sustainability, solidarity and the vision of a world in which a good life is possible for all.

Anna Dietl

she/her

As a versatile team player with a lot of enthusiasm, Anna handles events like the Impuls Academy and manages operational processes. Unless, of course, the next exciting campaign is on the horizon—in which case she also handles analysis and public relations.

Anna has been politically active since her time as a student representative, with a focus on the climate justice movement. There, she primarily worked in coordinating roles and on communications teams.

She currently lives in a HabiTAT housing project and has nothing but good things to say about it.

Josefine Hüttisch

she/her

Co-founder and one of the driving forces behind radius, currently focused on the association's further development and the organization of the Impuls Academy.

Since 2012, Josefine has been working in the fields of environmental policy and social justice. For her, the two are now inextricably linked. Whether as an activist with various NGOs, Josefine has been engaging with political developments and creative policy approaches for about ten years. She studied Business Administration and International Development in Manchester, Bayreuth, and Vienna. During her bachelor’s program, she was actively involved in issues of integration and migration policy, and during that time she helped found the group “diskursiv” (now “Kleiner Fünf”) to promote a culture of discussion and combat right-wing populism. For several years now, she has been supporting social movements and activist organizations through workshops focused on communication and rhetoric.

Lilli Frei

Coordinator and project developer with roots in various activism. Works to make visions come true.

Even as a child growing up near a large factory site, Lilli dreamed of the downfall of capitalism. Her path to activism zigzagged: from workshops and events on climate, heterodox economics and feminist economic policy to political research, on the street, in the lecture hall and in the theater. Creating spaces for exchange and further education is important to Lilli. Especially in times of polarization and a political shift to the right, Lilli is working to strengthen solidarity-based activism through exchange, education and shared practice.

Main focus: Project development, coordination, digital campaigns

Manuel Grebenjak

Strategist and networker with an eye for the big picture. Manuel has more ideas than there are hours in a day and still always keeps an overview. OK, most of the time anyway.

Manuel likes to coordinate and network. He is an enthusiastic communicator and strategist. In everything he does, he tries to see the big picture without losing sight of the details. Manuel has been politically active for a long time, especially in the climate movement in Austria, Spain and at international level. He studied communication science and political science in Vienna and political ecology in Barcelona.

Main focus: Social movements, strategy, communication

Stefan Holly

The financial expert in the team. Without Stefan, our coffers would be empty, as would our private accounts and fridges.

Stefan has been contributing his many years of experience in controlling, management and strategy work to the climate justice movement for several years. He enjoys designing financial processes, developing strategic foundations for organizations and thinking systemically and solution-oriented. Stefan studied business administration in Vienna and combines his expertise with a commitment to social and ecological transformation.

Veronika Winter

she/her

Climate activist and education expert. The soon-to-be doctor has many years of experience at university and on the streets. Not just on Fridays.

Vero has been involved in the Austrian climate justice movement since 2019 - with a focus on communication, strategy and group processes. She always keeps different perspectives in mind. Vero studied to become a teacher and works in teacher training, where she researches and implements action-oriented climate education.

Main focus: Press relations, coordination, moderation

Jakob Fürst

Program Director and political scientist. He is passionate about the exchange of opposing viewpoints and the insights that can be gained from them.

Jakob has long been involved in political education, science communication, peace work, and conflict resolution, and has implemented and advised on numerous initiatives, programs, and projects in these areas. At radius, he works at the intersection of education and outreach, as well as between activism and party politics.

Other club members

Our core team is part of a larger whole: Several association and founding members have been involved from the very beginning and have made a significant contribution to radius. They are still involved in the association today to varying degrees and their impulses have had a lasting impact on our development.
