Impulse Academy

The Impuls Academy offers professional development for people involved in social movements and civil society organizations: a week of intensive courses in which participants deepen their skills, learn new methods, and receive valuable tips for political work. In the process, they network, share experiences, and make new connections. The fourth Impuls Academy will take place from April 4 to 10, 2027, in Carinthia.

From Streets to Seats

Our democracy is under pressure. Many people do not feel politically represented and trust in institutions is declining. At the same time, many people involved in social movements are often unable to find their way into party politics. "From Streets to Seats" aims to help close this gap. A program with workshops and mentoring accompanies activists on their way into political decision-making spaces while maintaining their civil society roots.

Strategy Conferences for the Climate Movement

In spring 2026, we organized a strategy conference for the climate and environmental movement in Austria for the second time together with partners. As with the first edition, around one hundred representatives from dozens of organizations accepted the invitation.

In the super election year 2024, we already accompanied organizations from the movement in their strategic exchange.

Courageous Scientists Award

The Courageous Scientists Award will honor outstanding scientists from five continents who are courageously working to secure our future on this planet for the second time at a gala evening in Vienna in 2026. On behalf of the Forum for Eco-Social Transformations, we are supporting the project with outreach and community building, overseeing the communications strategy and its implementation through press relations, social media, and promotion of the award ceremony itself, and contributing to the project’s further development.

Our lanes

Completed campaign with the Vienna Chamber of Labor and the vida trade union. The topics and objectives of the initiative were to improve the railroad system in Austria, in particular for those employed there, and to campaign against deterioration in the sector due to counterproductive political initiatives.
The campaign has been continued as a blog since 2025.

Further training

We offer continuing education such as workshops and trainings, but also consulting for political groups and activists, non-profit organizations and institutions. We respond to different needs and resources on an individual basis.
