Impulse Academy<\/span> <\/span><\/h3>\n

The Impuls Academy offers further training for politically active people: One-week intensive courses with experienced trainers for anyone who wants to deepen their skills and methods. Participants expand their personal repertoire and are supported in applying their knowledge in their organizations. <\/span><\/p>\n

Together with our partner organization <\/span>Humus<\/span><\/a> we organized the first Impuls Academy in 2024. The second round took place in March 2025, with over 60 participants from numerous organizations in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. An inspiring week with lots of new know-how and networking across movements and countries. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

The third Impuls Academy will take place in Lower Austria from April 12 to 17, 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

From Streets to Seats<\/h3>\n

Our democracy is under pressure. Many people do not feel politically represented and trust in institutions is declining. At the same time, many people involved in social movements are often unable to find their way into party politics. \"From Streets to Seats\" aims to help close this gap. Our program with workshops and mentoring accompanies activists on their way into political decision-making spaces while maintaining their civil society roots.

Strategy conferences for the climate and environmental movement<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

In spring 2026, we organized a strategy conference for the climate and environmental movement in Austria for the second time together with partners. As with the first edition, around one hundred representatives from dozens of organizations accepted the invitation. <\/p>\n

The focus was on exchange, networking and the development of joint strategies in the face of rapidly changing social and political conditions.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

In the Austrian super election year 2024, we already accompanied numerous organizations of the Austrian climate movement in their strategic exchange.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Stay Grounded strategy conference<\/span><\/h3>\n

The international Stay Grounded network held its major strategy conference in Barcelona in July 2025 under the title\"Beyond Aviation, Tourism and Capitalism<\/a>\".<\/p>\n

We supported this by co-facilitating a narrative and vision process<\/a> as well as a workshop on the strategies of the organizations and movements represented.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

With our office in Vienna, we are creating a shared space for civil society initiatives. We are currently sharing our coworking space with Fridays for Future Austria and the online medium <\/span>mosaic<\/span>.
<\/span>We also regularly make our premises and technical infrastructure available to other initiatives.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Narrative process: overturning tax privileges<\/span><\/h3>\n

Inequality and extreme wealth are among the biggest problems for society, democracy and our planet. For years, the organizations taxmenow, Netzwerk Steuergerechtigkeit and Finanzwende e.V. have therefore been fighting against unjust tax privileges that continue to fuel these problems. In 2025, we supported them in renewing their narratives and making them more unified as an alliance. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
